Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Project Research Scientist-I (NonMedical) under the following research project funded by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).

Title: Development of a microRNA-based electrochemical biosensor for early detection of Oral cancer

Name of the Post: Project Research Scientist-I, Department of Biological Sciences

Salary: Rs. 56,000/- per month + 18% HRA (Rs. 10,080) = Rs. 66,080/-

Duration: One year (extendable further based on performance and continuation of funding).

Essential Qualification: Second Class Master’s degree in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences/ with PhD degree OR First Class Master’s degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Life Sciences OR For Engineering/IT/CS-First class graduate degree of four years.

Desirable Qualification: Candidates with prior research experience in Bio-informatics, Nextgeneration sequencing data analysis, Machine-learning algorithms, Molecular biology, clinical samples handling, miRNA research, and RNA biology with a good publication record will be given preference.

Age: Applicant should not have completed 35 years of age at the time of application.
