Applications are invited for the recruitment of three (03) Young Professional-II under the project ‘Clean Plant Programme (CPP)-IARI’ in Division of Plant Pathology, ICAR- Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi - 110012. Essential: M.Sc. in Plant Pathology/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/Life Sciences
Desirable: Research experience in Plant Virology/Virus Diagnostics/Molecular Biology and biotechnology with knowledge of Computer and bioinformatics, NGS data analysis.

Terms & Conditions:
1. For the details of qualifications and other requirements of post, please refer to ICAR Office Memorandum F.No. Agril.Edn. 1-06/2020-A&P dated 04.12.2020. Terms & conditions, norms and guidelines as per this ICAR O.M. will be followed. The emolument of the above positions will be as per DST/DBT/ICAR rules.

2. Age limit: The minimum age for Young Professional will be 21 years and maximum 45 years. Relaxation of age limits in case of Woman/SC/ST/OBC/Persons with disabilities/PWD candidates as per Government norms will be given.

3. Application should be submitted by the candidates in the prescribed proforma only (Given in Annexure-I & II). It should be ensured to make a single PDF of duly filled application (Given in Annexure-I & II) along with self-attested copies of all certificates in a sequence while submitting to above mails, otherwise the applications are liable to be rejected.

4. The eligible shortlisted candidates should report for the interview one hour before scheduled time on the date of interview for necessary formalities. Candidates appearing for interview should bring two copies of their CV in prescribed application format given below (Annexure I & II), two passport size photographs and one set of self-attested photocopies of their certificates/ mark-sheets/ experience proof etc. Applicants must bring with them original documents at the
time of interview for verification.

5. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.

6. No objection certificate from the employer, in case he/ she has an employment.

7. Candidates whose near/ distant relative(s) is an employee of the ICAR/ IARI, has to declare it and communicate this office as per format given below.

8. Candidates reaching after specified time may not ordinarily be entertained.

9. Canvassing in any form would lead to disqualification of the candidate.

10. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview.

11. The young professional (YP) shall be subject to the laws of secrecy of the country and will sign a declaration of secrecy and Non-Disclosure Agreement before reporting.

12. The selected candidates shall not claim for any regular appointments at this institute as the above positions are purely contractual, non-regular, time bound and are co-terminus with the project.

13. The Director, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi reserves the right to cancel/postpone the interview or cancel specific posts without assigning any reason thereof.

14. The Director, ICAR-IARI, New Delhi reserves the right to terminate the contract of job as mentioned above, even before the completion of the project for which no appeal thereof shall be entertained.

15. In case of any dispute, it will be resolved in the jurisdiction of New Delhi Court only.

16. The decision of the competent authority will be final and binding in all respects.
