Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the post of “Bioinformatician” on a contract basis for the “Centre for Brain and Mind’ funded by Rohini Nilekani Philanthropies (RNP) under Dr. Y.C. Janardhan Reddy Professor and Head, Department of Psychiatry & Principal Investigator NIMHANS, Bengaluru - 560 029.

Date of Notification: 24.01.2024

Essential Qualification: BE/B.Tech./M.Tech./M.Sc.in Biostatistics or Bioinformatics or Computational Biology or Biotechnology *. *Any graduate degree relevant to the field of bioinformatics, with a demonstrated proficiency in programming.

Essential Experience: Strong programming skills in R/ Perl/ Python/shell scripting. Ability to work in a Linux environment

Desirable Experience: One year of experience with analysis of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis.

Emoluments per month: Rs.50,000/- (Consolidated) P.M
