Applications are invited to attend interview (In-person) for the recruitment of research fellows and un-skilled staff against vacancies in projects funded by different funding agencies. The interview will be organized on 12th April 2024 for the recruitment of Senior Research Fellow (ONE post under NASF project), Junior Research Fellow (01 Post under GCoE on Millets project), Young ProfessionalII (02 Post under GCoE on Millets and CABin projects) and semi/un-skilled Worker (01 post under NASF project), purely on temporary/contractual basis, co-terminus with the projects, as per the particulars given below.

Terms and Conditions

 The above positions are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis. The posts are co-terminus with the Project. Currently, the NASF project is sanctioned up to 31.03.2025, Global CoE on millets up to 31.03.2025 and CABin project up to 31-03-2025, but is likely to be extended further.

 Age limit: 35 years (Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST/ women candidates as per govt. guidelines) as on 1st April 2024, (no age limit for unskilled staff).

 The posts are purely temporary and will be filled on contractual basis initially for up to 31-03- 2025 or till completion of project whichever is earlier and may be extended periodically subject to performance of the candidate till the termination of the project.

 No objection Certificate (NOC) from the current employer is required if working.

 For SRF post, Master's Degree in the relevant subject with 4 years / 5 years of Bachelor's degree is mandatory. Candidates having PG degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor's degree and 2 years Master's degree should have NET qualification as mentioned in the ICAR F. No. Edn. /6/27/2014/HRD dated July 13, 2015.

 Candidate should come for walk-in interview with two copies of application as per the format given in Annexure 1 along with a copy of biodata with dully attested certificates of 10th, 12th, Undergraduation, post-graduation, Ph.D. and NET/GATE and other certificates. Affix an attested recent passport-size photograph in the Bio-data.

 The selected candidate will be required to produce all the original documents and medical certificates at the time of joining.

 No TA/DA/ any other expenses will be paid for attending the interview.

 Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.

 The selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointments at this Institute as the post is co-terminus with the respective projects.

 Concealing of facts or canvassing in any form shall lead to disqualification or termination.

 The candidate intending to attend the interview, if any of his near or distant relatives is an employee of the ICAR/IARI, has to declare his/her name, designation, nature of duties, and relationship in writing. If on the date of the interview such declaration is furnished and found that his relative is an employee of ICAR/IARI, such candidate will not be allowed to appear in the interview.

 In case of any discrepancy, the English version may be treated as final.

 The institute retains the right to not select any candidate / scrap any of the positions even after the interview.
