Puducherry.

Essential Qualification: Professionals having PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics with research & development experience and published papers OR Retired Government employees with Grade pay of Rs. 4600/- and above and having at least 20 years’ experience with PhD in Statistics/Biostatistics with research & development experience and published papers. 

Desirable Qualification:

• Knowledge or research experience in medicine, biology, parasitology, epidemiology or surveillance of infectious diseases - specifically in vector-borne diseases or lymphatic filariasis
• Experience of biostatistical application in the field of medical statistics and/or epidemiology.
• Experience of conducting systematic reviews and meta-analysis
• Knowledge or previous experience in data management. Experience in supervision/teaching of research teams, students or other staff members.
• Good publication record which demonstrates experience in the conduct, analysis and reporting of analytical and clinical research of infectious diseases, particularly vector borne diseases.
• Strong analytical and excellent writing and verbal skills for communication.
• Understanding and carrying out advanced statistical analysis
• Good fluency and worked extensively with statistical packages, R and Stata.
• Fluency or working level in English

Age limit:  Upto 70 years

Consolidated salary:  INR 80,000/- per month (Consolidated)

Contract period:  Upto September 2024
