Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Project Assistant under the following research project funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).

Title: Pathological consequences of hypoxia-derived exosomes on glioblastoma cancer transcriptome

Name of the Post: Project Assistant, Department of Biological Sciences

Salary: Rs. 31,000/- per month (consolidated)

Duration: One year (extendable up to two years based on performance and continuation of funding).

Essential Qualification: Graduate (BSc or equivalent) in biological sciences/life science/biochemistry/biotechnology/relevant subjects with three years of research experience in molecular biology and cell culture techniques from a recognized institution or Master’s degree (MSc or equivalent) in biological sciences/life sciences/biochemistry/biotechnology/relevant subjects with minimum 60% marks. Those who are waiting for results of MSc may also apply.

Desired Experience: Candidates with prior research experience in Cancer research, molecular biology, cell culture, epigenetics, and RNA biology from a recognized institution will be given preference.

Age: Applicant should not have completed 30 years of age at the time of application.

No communications in this regard will be entertained. The online application should be submitted on or before 15th April 2024. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview by e-mail. Based on the number of applications, additional criteria for screening such as desired experience may be applied. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidate for appearing in the interview. The selected candidate will be notified by e-mail and expected to join immediately.
