Applications are invited for ONE position of Research Fellow on project, “UV-visible LED light responsive semiconductor films devices for drinking water pollutant sensing and purification applications” funded by BITS Pilani, Cross-Disciplinary Research Fellowship (CDRF) scheme (C1/23/200) under the supervision of Prof. Halan Prakash (Department of Chemistry), project coordinator.

· UV visible light active photocatalysts and preparation of thin films. · Mass spectral analysis of pollutants and other spectroscopic methods. · Kinetics modelling of the photocatalytic degradation results and water purification device development |
M.Sc Degree in Chemistry/Environmental Sciences/Nanotechnology , and M.Tech Environmental/Chemical/ Nanotechnology engineering or equivalent degree graduates from reputed University/Institute with First class or equivalent grade. |
• Candidate qualified GATE or UGC/CSIR-NET • Knowledge on basic spectroscopy, synthesis. • Experience in analytical techniques such as GC, HPLC will be an advantage. |
Fellowship: ₹37,000 - ₹42,000 per month (based on the year of PhD and performance)
